Beltaine Wild Camp in the Sperrins
Join the Wild Women for a celebration of Beltaine on the banks of the Owenkillew River, near Plumbridge in the Sperrins. Immerse yourself in nature with a wild camping experience away from bright lights and roads. Fish for your dinner, forage in the woods and swim in the river. Camp in a beautiful field surrounded by trees, on a bend of the river, with buzzards, brown trout, blackthorn blossom and bluebells in the woods. It’s a stunning location!

As it is a bank holiday weekend, we will camp from Saturday to Monday. On Sunday afternoon, Helen Farrell will lead us in a guided meditation and fire ceremony to mark Beltaine. We shall make Spring headcrowns from ivy and celebrate nature’s bounty as the wild women we are there may be dancing, there may be singing…there will be feasting. We may also get to…
